Michael Imran Kanu
Michael is a highly skilled and experienced commercial practitioner and burgeoning academic on Sierra Leone law. Michael professional experience includes previous positions as Prosecutor, Anti-Corruption Commission in Sierra Leone; and as Secretary of the General Legal Council, (the legal practice regulatory body in Sierra Leone. Michael was also Legal Officer, ProCredit Bank (SL) Limited, and Visiting Associate, Banking and Finance Practice, White & Case LLP (London Office) under the International Lawyers for Africa (ILFA) Secondment program in 2009. Michael was a partner in two law firms, and has acted as consultant advising numerous commercial and non-commercial entities including the Special Court for Sierra Leone.
